The Farmington Community Foundation is a groups of community minded leaders who are committed to preserving the legacy of Farmington through funding of worthy community projects.

Neil Anderson
Neil Anderson is the Market President at Minnwest Bank in Farmington MN. Has been in banking for over 35 years and is focused on helping strengthen the Community that his bank is a part of. Neil has been president of several banks in Minnesota, served on several board of directors, been on several city commissions and served in the military for over 15 years. He works hard to strengthen the communities he is a part of through his service. He was one of the founders of the Farmington Community Foundation in 2022 and services as the foundations current Chairman.

Jason Berg
Jason Berg currently serves as the superintendent of Farmington Area Public Schools in Farmington, MN. Prior to this role, Jason served as the Farmington High School Principal,as an Elementary Principal, math instructional coach, and high school math teacher. Jason’s wife Connie is a middle school physical education teacher in the Farmington district. Together they have two sons, Lucas who currently works for Medica,and Kyle who is a member of the Professional Golf Association of America.

Nicole McCarthy
Nicole McCarthy is a second generation native, born and raised in Farmington. She has over 15 years of experience in public relations, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement. In her current External Relations role at Minnesota Energy Resources, she engages with local, regional and statewide community and public stakeholders as well as participates and volunteers in several non-profit organizations. In her free time she enjoying summers at the cabin, attending Farmington Lutheran Church, and watching her kids play in various community sports including Farmington Hockey, Farmington Baseball,Farmington Fastpitch and the TigerSharks Swim Club.

Kristie Kerr
Kristie Kerr is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and co-pastor of Homestead Community Church alongside her husband Jeff. She holds a master’s in biblical theology and has been serving in full time ministry for 28 years. Jeff and Kristie planted Homestead in Farmington in 2015 and are deeply committed to serving the community. She currently serves on the Farmington Community Foundation and is the chair of the Top the Tater Days Committee. She and Jeff have four adult children and one grandchild and have been Farmington residents for 23 years.

Joy Kresin Omlid
Joy Kresin Omlid is the founder and CEO of Finch & Daisy Consulting and Beans & Boots Coffee, leading with a passion for entrepreneurship and community impact. She is deeply committed to supporting local initiatives and creating opportunities that strengthen our community. At home, Joy cherishes life with her wife, Kellee, and her adult children, Olivia and Jack.

Eric Snyder
Partner, Excelsior Bay Group
Eric and his spouse, Kim, serve as consultants to the nonprofit sector through their firm, the Excelsior Bay Group. Their firm specializes in providing strategy, governance and philanthropic counsel to Minnesota-based and national nonprofit organizations.
Eric has served as fractional executive director for the Farmington Community Foundation since 2023. He lives and works in Excelsior, Minnesota.
